Wanted to share a little something from yesterday's 4th of July celebration. While taking a break from my kids, I mean the sun, I witnessed a Prospect Park Police Officer allow a small group of children to check out his police car. They were very excited and took their time while he stood by patiently waiting for their excitement to end. What he did next I am sure meant more to them than getting to play police officer for a few minutes. He gave them each a dollar to get a drink when they told him they were thirsty.
